About the Chamber: The Kennebunks is by far one of the most prosperous and thriving regions in Maine. We're proof! The Chamber of Commerce currently has more than 430 members! We are an exceptionally active and diverse organization, offering a wide range of programs, activities and services to help promote member businesses. Our year-round Chamber office, staffed by full-time professionals, is located in the "Yellow House" in Lower Village, where members and visitors are welcome to stop in during regular business hours. (While at our office, you can park in our back lot at no cost.)

About the Maine Cancer Foundation: The Foundation was established in 1976 by a small group of Maine citizens, principal among them Harmon Hugo, who, finding no organization in Maine with a commitment to keep 100% of funds raised in Maine, founded a new non-profit to do just that. Soon after, the family of Maurice Sandler, who had created a Foundation is his name, chose to merge their Foundation with this new organization, Maine Cancer Research and Education Foundation.
